According to Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the AR Crimea, Olga Krivenko, about 70% out of 38 different maps that will be included in the project are on improvement stage now. Currently, maps are being supplemented with information that will be interesting to the end user - an investor.

 

 

   The project was implemented in a way that investors will have an access to 38 information maps describing infrastructure, investment proposals, industry clusters. There is a possibility to view the maps separately and in combination with each other. In general, the investment map will bear information about the transport and energy infrastructure of Crimea, land for sale at auctions and investment projects in various industries being implemented and offered for implementation. The agro-industrial sector will be presented on 16 maps, the health resort complex - at 5, the industry - at 3 and the fuel and energy complex - at 3 maps, etc.

 

 

   Olga Krivenko noted that the map will become a modern tool for presentation of investment potential of Crimea. "This map will give answers to all investors' questions that may arise while considering investment proposals or even while implementing a specific project in Crimea. This is his "road map", like an atlas, where he could turn over the pages online through all the data that do interest him" - said the deputy minister.

 

   According to Olga Krivenko, the main objective pursued by the Ministry while developing Interactive investment maps – is to attract investors to Crimea by facilitating access to information of his interest about the autonomy. As we know, such a project is being implemented in Ukraine for the first time.

 

   The Interactive investment map of the AR Crimea is being developed in accordance with the Strategy for economic and social development of the AR Crimea for 2011 - 2020 years. The developer is the National Academy of Environmental Protection and Resort Development. The map will be available at the investment portal of Crimea at www.invest-crimea.gov.ua. Project launch is planned for early September of this year.
