On October 7-8, 2011, the II International Black Sea Economic Forum will take place in Yalta Continuing the successful tradition, this year the Forum will focus on topical issues of economic cooperation in the Black Sea basin and will help open up new opportunities for joint projects and initiatives, presenting the experience of international best practice in regional leadership and economic development.
The Forum's agenda will include such key issues in the economic development of the Black Sea, as the prospects for cooperation and creation of inter-regional and international clusters in the field of agricultural and agro-organic production, as well as interregional and international cooperation for development of the sanatorium, treatment and tourism market.
This year the event will bring together over 150 representatives of government, business, expert circles and mass media of the Black Sea countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and European countries.
Last year the event was attended by more than 250 participants. It has contributed to deepening of cooperation with the Black Sea countries and has shown strong interest and willingness of international business to actively participate in the development of Crimea and to invest in promising projects.
