In January – June, 2011 export volume in goods of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to the EU countries increased on 16,8% in comparison with the same period of 2010 and amounted 76.2 million USD. Import increased in 5 times and amounted 177,9 million USD. Specific gravity of export in goods to the countries of the European Union is 23.5%, import - 48%.
In the accounting period the largest export volume took place to Germany – 17,8 million USD, Netherlands – 10,2 million USD, Hungary – 8,8 million USD, Slovakia – 7,4 million USD, Italy – 6,9 million USD, France – 5,1 million USD, Spain – 5,0 million USD.
To the EU countries there are exported mainly: dyes (41% of total exports in goods to the EU), fertilizer (14.5%), floating stuff (12.9%), machinery and mechanical equipment (10.2%), ore, slag and ash (8.2%).
In comparison with the appropriate period of the last year greatly increased the import volume of goods from the European Union (in 5 times) due to the import of mechanical and electrical machinery, apparatus and instruments from Germany (more than 119 million USD or 95.3% of total imports of the country).
The largest import volumes came from Germany – 125,1 million USD, Italy – 16,1 million USD, Poland - 8 million USD, Hungary – 7,1 million USD, Slovakia – 4,4 million USD.
In the commodity composition of import goods from the EU countries the specific gravity included cars, machinery and mechanical devices (58.6% of total import from the EU countries), electrical machinery and equipment (17.7%), optical instruments and apparatus (4.6%).
