During the II International Black Sea Economic Forum the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has signed the agreement on inter-regional cooperation with Sevastopol City State Administration, Odessa, Kherson and Nykolaev regional state administrations, and has also signed supplements to the previous agreement with the Kharkov Regional State Administration.
The signing of the documents was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the ARC Pavel Burlakov, chairman of Sevastopol City State Administration Vladimir Yatsuba, deputy chairman of Odessa Regional State Administration Aleksandr Malin, First deputy chairman of Kherson Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Beliy, Chairman of Nykolaev Regional State Administration Nikolay Kruglov. Also the ceremony was attended by Minister for Regional Development, Construction and Housing Utilities of Ukraine Anatoly Bliznyuk.
As First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the ARC Pavel Burlakov after the signing noted at the briefing, inter-regional cooperation is a significant additional source of regional development.
"Today, we have made another important step in development of our regions, our economies and regions of Ukraine. I think that we will fill these contracts with real content jointly with our colleagues", - emphasized First Vice Prime Minister of the Crimea.
The head of Sevastopol City State Administration Vladimir Yatsuba proposed to today’s signatories to report on their work on development of investment potential of Crimea at the next Black Sea Economic Forum.
"The investment component is very important, because it will allow investment to improve the socio-economic situation in our peninsula", - says Vladimir Yatsuba.
The governor of Kharkov region Mikhail Dobkin said that the practical meaning of today’s signed documents is in "economic area, tourism and experience exchange in various sectors of the economy."
Chairman of Nykolaev Regional State Administration Nikolay Kruglov expressed confidence that making of such agreements contributes to fostering relations between the regions of Ukraine, as well as allows the state to conduct a system policy in such priority areas as energy, resources, transport and environment.
First deputy chairman of Kherson Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Beliy noted that signing of today's agreements would allow regions to unite in order to solve common problems.
Deputy Chairman of Odessa Regional State Administration Aleksandr Malin said that the regions will systematically share their experience within the documents signed.
"I think the growth rates will be multiplied after execution of articles of these agreements," - said Alexander Malin.
