In particular, tourism and recreation in the Black Sea countries have two actual tendencies - attracting international hotel chains and bidding for medical tourism.
As for the agricultural sector, the trend of organic farming starts to dominate the Black Sea region. Also, the overall priorities are "green energy" infrastructure development, involving investment funds, including through public-private partnership, mandatory inclusion of an environmental component in all projects. According to Yurchenko, all these components are important and priority for Crimea.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that the strategic location of Crimea will contribute to more dynamic development of the autonomy compared with other regions of Ukraine.
Ekaterina Yurchenko said that the work of the Government of Crimea is aimed at creating a favorable business environment. "It is the Agency for Regional Development, which develops investment projects and accompanies their implementation in the country. It is ordering of land relations, deregulation of business, skills development - all the things we are working hard every day and put our knowledge and skills by all means ", - said Deputy Prime Minister.
She reminded that there has been developed a draft law regulating the investment activities in Crimea which is under consideration in the Verkhovna Rada. "The law will be significant for investors because it includes tax breaks and incentives for implementation of investment projects in priority sectors for development of Crimea", - said Ekaterina Yurchenko.
