In Yalta, during the II International Black Sea Economic Forum, the signing of agreements on cooperation between the Council of Ministers of Crimea and international technical assistance projects was conducted.
In particular, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Pavel Burlakov has signed memoranda of understanding with the Swiss-Ukrainian project "Support to decentralization in Ukraine» (DESPRO) and the Project "Programme for public-private partnership development», FHI DEVELOPMENT 360. There was also signed the agreement of understanding with the Ukrainian-Swiss program "Mother and Child Health".
The project DESPRO aims at development of social infrastructure and improving public services. It will be implemented in Lenino, Bakhchisaray and Nizhnegorskiy regions. The purpose of the program "Health of Mother and Child" is to improve the quality, effectiveness and accessibility of preventive and curative health services for mothers and children. The program will be implemented in maternity institutions of the autonomy.
In its turn, the project FHI DEVELOPMENT 360 is aimed at public-private partnership development (PPP) by providing assistance to the Ukrainian government at the national and local levels to create an enabling environment for PPPs, as well as through support for forms, working in the private sector who are interested in PPPs. The project aims to promote socio-economic development of Crimea. As a part of its implementation there will be seminars, conferences, roundtables and trainings organized, books and information booklets will be published.
