The Czech-Crimean Economic Forum was held in Simferopol

 
   The forum was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the ARC Ekaterina Yurchenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Ukraine Ivan Pochuh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Tomas Dub, representatives of more than 40 Crimean and Czech companies and enterprises.
 
 
   Welcoming the participants, Ekaterina Yurchenko stressed that this year the interaction of Crimea with the European Union has been improved and the Czech-Crimean Economic forum is the result of successfully developing relations between the autonomy and the Czech Republic.
 
 
   "2011 year has already become a breakthrough in the European integration of Crimea. More and more events are being conducted involving EU countries in Crimea. And today's forum is one of these events", - said Deputy Prime Minister.
 
 
   According to Ekaterina Yurchenko, strengthening of economic relations between the Czech Republic and Crimea should be the forum’s outcome in the long term.
 
   Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Ukraine Ivan Pochuh reported that the Czech side is interested in deep cooperation with the autonomy, including in such most priority areas as the tourism and agriculture. He also expressed the hope that the forum representatives of Crimean and Czech companies would reach concrete agreements.
