Memorandum of understanding between the Council of Ministers, the Export-Import Bank of China and China National Corporation of Machine Industry and General Contracting (СМСЕС) and the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on cooperation in agricultural development in Crimea was signed in Beijing. The signing took place at the return visit of the Crimean delegation to China.

   The document provides for the cooperation between the sides in the field of agriculture. In particular, it concerns realization of the projects in construction of the agricultural sector, including the grain elevator, feed mill, refrigeration facilities, plant for production of biofuels, biogas plants, fruit-and vegetable stores. In addition, the memorandum provides for the establishment farms of cattle in beef and dairy directions, pig farms, poultry farms, wholesale markets. Also, it is planned implementation of such projects as the modernization of agricultural land reclamation, the development of viticulture and winemaking, delivery of the Crimean products to China.

 

   "The implementation of individual projects in agriculture requires the involvement of both private and public investment. This agreement will further strengthen and expand economic and scientific-technical cooperation, particularly in agriculture"- said Vice-Premier of the Autonomy.

 

   Ekaterina Yurchenko also noted that the main goal of the Crimean government is achieving sustainable growth and quality of life for the Crimean people, dynamic economic development and the implementation of the strategic interests of Ukraine in the Black Sea region. Strategy of socio-economic development of Crimea is realized for these goals. The Strategy is a kind of "road map" for the investor, where he can get a full picture of the potential of the region and future directions of the organization of its activities. Agency for regional development, a network of permitting centers operate to simplify doing business on the territory of Crimea. Political and economic stability was achieved. Row of regulations was canceled.
