A meeting of Ekaterina Yurchenko and Vice-Mayor of Beijing Ding Xiangyang was held.

During the visit of the Crimean delegation in the Chinese People's Republic Deputy of Chairman of the Council of Ministers - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Crimea Ekaterina Yurchenko met with the Deputy of Mayor of Beijing Ding Xiangyang.

During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of cooperation between Crimea and Beijing in the sphere of resorts and tourism, as well as the formation of the tourist flow to the Autonomy. In particular, Ding Xiangyang said that each year five million Beijingers have a rest abroad. He noted that if many of them have known about the benefits of vacation in Crimea, they will visit the peninsula, which would be a good stimulus for the economic development of autonomy. Thus, the average income of Beijing residents is $ 10 thousand per year. And experts estimate that 100 million Chinese tourists will go abroad and spend $ 100 million by 2015 year.

By-turn, Ekaterina Yurchenko assured that the Chinese tourists will be interested in Crimea by unique natural and recreational resources, many cultural and architectural monuments, as well as favorable price offers of resorts.

In addition, the sides discussed the issue of attracting investment and participation of Crimea in the Chinese Foreign Investment Fair «III China Overseas Investment Fair».
