Meeting as a part of return visit to China was held between the Crimean delegation and Vice-President of the company «National Technological Import & Export Corporation» (CNTIC) Mr. Wu Duyu. It concerns the issue of realization the project of construction the trading port on the lake Donuzlav. From the Crimean side the meeting was attended by Deputy of Chairman of the Council of Ministers - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Crimea Ekaterina Yurchenko, director of the Agency for regional development Alexey Starodubov, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme Council of Crimea of sanatorium complex and tourism Rustam Temirgaliev.
During the meeting, China has supported the project of transfer facilities of Evpatoria’s trading port to the lake Donuzlav. The project cost is estimated in 1 billion 190 million dollars. In particular, the company CNTIC confirmed its willingness to raise resources to finance the construction of the port, to implement design work by bringing Chinese specialists. "This project is a priority for the company CNTIC. And we would like to realize it with the Ukrainian authorities as soon as possible", - said Vice-President of the company.
In addition, he said, that the company CNTIC is interested in a number of infrastructure projects in the Autonomy. In particular, it concerns the construction of highways and high-speed railway in the direction of Western Crimea. The average cost of the project for reconstruction of the road is approximately $ 100 million.
By-turn, Ekaterina Yurchenko thanked to head of the company for their attention for development of Crimea. She assured that the government of the Autonomy will fully support realization of these projects. "Crimean authority will contribute the work of Chinese investors. Because it is very important for us to realize all these projects", - concluded the Vice-Premier.
Also, Alexey Starodubov reminded that in December 2010, representatives of the company CNTIC by the invitation of the Agency for regional development visited Crimea and explored the infrastructure of the region, on which will be moved the port. "We have signed two memorandums. Working groups were formed from both sides. By 1 December we will give our Chinese partners the rest information for the formation of the final proposals for the project to build the port", - said the director of the Agency for regional development.
