One of the largest airlines of China will treat to the Crimean wine products

China is interested in the Crimean wines, as evidenced by the meetings and talks of the director of the Novy Svet Winery, Janina Pavlenko within in the ongoing visit of the Crimean delegation to China.

During staying in China's capital, on Wednesday, there was signed a contract with the Beijing company «Charming Wines» to supply the products of "Novy Svet", as well as a contract with the restaurant chain of the Ukrainian-Russian cuisine in China. Janina Pavlenko said that at first it will be one container - 8000 bottles of product. She emphasized that the following supplies will depend on the ability of the manufacturer. According to her, the plant is very interested in developing the Chinese market.

Also the corporation "Hainan Airlines" (HNA) has showed a great interest in the Crimean wine production, and not only to purchase wine for passengers on flights but for wholesale supply too.

"Exports and imports is only a part of a large corporation’s activity, the basic is air transportation," - said vice president and general manager of the Export-Import Management Holding Gao Feng at the meeting on Thursday at the headquarters of the corporation "Hainan Airlines" in Haikou, administrative center of Hainan Province. Basically, he represents the structure that deals with air and airport facilities, but this year they decided to start importing wines. "For the first quarter our imports totaled $ 600 thousand, and by October - has already exceeded $ 10 million, but only on Hainan Island" - Gao Feng illustrated with figures of export growth of the wine. He added that the company began to supply products to France and Australia and then they became interested in the Crimean wines. In 2008, representatives of the corporation attended Novy Svet Winery and this year, learning about the Crimean visit to Hainan, they initiated the meeting.

According to Gao Feng, they plan to deliver predominantly dry red and white wines in large companies and government, not just in the Hainan province, but in other regions too. Also, it is not excluded the delivery of products to major supermarkets. HNA is a private airline company. It was founded in 1989 and now is among the four largest airlines by fleet size of the PRC (96 planes). It carries out regular domestic and international flights, has about 500 destinations at nine airports in Hainan and the mainland, in addition, it is engaged in charter flights.

"I am sure that the Crimean wine market will make you an offer you cannot refuse" - said Janina Pavlenko. The director of the winery promised to start preparing commercial offer on products of different range - from cheap to luxury, recalling that during the Soviet era, before perestroika, "Novy Svet" was delivering in China 180 thousand bottles of champagne per year.

Janina Pavlenko noted great opportunities for cooperation of Chinese importers and other wine-making enterprises, which are about 40 in Crimea. "Crimea can offer Chinese consumers a wide range of wines in the broadest price range" - she assured. The director of the winery reported that during the last six months, Chinese importers have repeatedly contacted to producers in Crimea, including "Novy Svet Winery".
