Since the beginning of the year, there has been increasing in exports and imports of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In comparison to the same period of the last year, exports has increased by 19.4%; imports - by 3.9 times and amounted to 497.6 million USD and 813.6 million USD respectively. The negative balance of foreign trade was 316.0 million USD. The trade deficit was affected by significant increase in imports of mechanical, electrical machinery and equipment, vessels, construction materials, ferrous metal products.
The Autonomous Republic of Crimea has carried out foreign trade in goods with partners from 119 countries.
The largest volume of exports was directed to the Russian Federation (30.3% of total exports of goods), Belarus (6.3%), Germany (5.9%), Turkey (5.3%), Kazakhstan (4.4%) and India (4%).
The largest share in the commodity structure of export belongs to:
- chemical products and related industries - 55% of total exports of goods, including dyes - 33.6%, organic chemical products - 17%, fertilizers - 3.6%;
- mechanical and electrical machines - 14.4%;
- mineral products - 11.6%;
- vehicles - 7.5%.
The largest share of imports of goods accounted for China - 41.5%, Germany - 17.8%, Russia - 6.1%, UK - 4.7%, Turkey - 4.4% and Hungary - 4.2%.
Volumes of supplies of machinery took 66.9% of total imports of goods, including 50.7% were in electrical equipment and 16.2% - mechanical machines and equipment.
Compared with the corresponding period of the last year, the volume of imports from Asia has significantly increased due to increase in supply of electrical equipment at 313.3 million USD from China. Imports of goods from Europe have grown by 231.6 million USD.
