In 2012, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will continue its active exhibition activities with a view to presentation of the investment potential. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the autonomy, Olga Krivenko, within the enlarged meeting of the Ministry’s board.
In particular, in 2012, it is planned to present the Crimean exposure at the III International Black Sea Economic Forum, the International Trade Fair in Germany, "Hannover Messe 2012", the International Izmir Fair in Turkey, the International exhibition "Expo-2012" in Korea, etc.
Deputy Minister also stressed that in 2012 the new direction of work will be organization of presentation sites about Crimea in the Ukrainian Embassies in Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, India, United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan. According to Olga Krivenko, the embassies have confirmed the readiness to assist in carrying out these activities.
This year, Crimea participated in such important national and international exhibitions and fairs as a nationwide exhibition action "Barvista Ukraine" in Kiev, Interstate exhibition devoted to 20th anniversary of the CIS in Moscow, a foreign investment and cooperation fair in Beijing, the ASIA International investment real estate exhibition in Hong Kong.
Besides, in 2011, the investment potential of the republic was presented at a business forum in London and Brussels, IV Baku International Banking Conference of the CIS member states, Road show in Japan, Korea and China. There were conducted expositions of the republic’s economic potential at the business forum "Yalta business meetings," meeting of the Council of Regions of Ukraine, II International Black Sea Economic Forum, etc.
