Interactive Investment map of Crimea is one of the modern tools that could enhance investment activity. It was stated by Irina Berezhnaya - the head of economics, regional policy and management department at the National Academy of Environmental Protection and Resort Development on the extended meeting of the board of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

 

   Irina Berezhnaya pointed out that Interactive Investment map of Crimea has been developed by the Ministry jointly with the National Academy of Environmental Protection and Resort Development taking into account a rich global experience in this field. At the same time, she said that the main task within creation of maps is a visualization of the republic’s potential: "An investor who is interested in a particular country, region, economic activities, resources and other characteristics of the territory, can get this information from the map from the comfort of his office".

 

   Today the map consists of 31 layers of information that characterize the infrastructure of the autonomy, investment proposals and industry clusters. The map contains data on workforce, transport and energy infrastructure and investment projects in various industries offered for sale at land plots auctions, being under implementation and offered for implementation. Information on the investment map is being constantly updated. There is also English version of the project under development.

 

   The map is available on the Investment Portal of Crimea at www.invest-crimea.gov.ua.
