The Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine reported that the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is in Ukrainian top 5 of private-public partnership development. This was announced by head of financial policy and social economy department of the Ministry of economic development and trade of the ARC Maksim Kolmykov within a program on GTRC "Krym".

 

   Now the government of the Crimea in cooperation with Private-Public Partnership Development Program and USAID is preparing for realization of 2 investments pilot projects of PPP that had been selected in December 2011 by Program experts. These projects are shown below:

   According to Maksim Kolmykov, development of projects concept is in final stage. In late February – early March 2012 representatives of Program are expected to arrive.

 

   Within the Program and Ministry policy in 2012 is going to be organized specific PPP training and seminars for republican authorities.

 

   The most popular form of PPP in the Crimea is concession. Now the Republic has 56 contract of concession for communal property. 39 contracts were concluded by local council and 14 contracts by regions.

 

   Maksim Kolmykov also remind about Interagency work group for PPP development that was established in October 2011 to assist in projects implementation.
