Activ Solar completes “Mityaevo” Solar power station The Austrian company Activ Solar completes “Mityaevo” Solar power station in Saky region of Crimea. It has capacity of 31.55 MW.
Station “Mityaevo” is consisted of 134 thousand crystalline modules and placed on the area over 59 hectares. Every year, the station will produce for about 40 thousand MW/hour of electricity per year, which will provide 8 thousand households. This is the fourth large-scale project completed by Activ Solar in Crimea. The total capacity of all plants in Crimea by Activ Solar reached 215 MW.
In December 2011 Activ Solar had completed construction of the fifth stage of solar power plant near the village of Perovo (Simferopolsky district, Crimea) with capacity of 20 MW. The total capacity of solar power has increased to 100 MW and the plant has become the largest in the world.

The top ten largest solar power plants of the world include two Ukrainian plants. Last year they were built by Active Solar in Perovo and Okhotnikovo, Crimea. Germany with 672 MW holds superiority of the number of installed capacity.
