In the I half of 2012 Crimea foreign trade in services

 
From the beginning of the year, there is an increase in exports and imports of services. Compared to the same period last year, exports increased by 26% to 155.1 million $. Imports amounted to 25.4 million $, respectively, an increase of 1.7. This is according to the Main Statistical Office in the ARC.
 
Services exports to CIS countries amounted to 48.8% of total exports to the European countries - 21.2%, in the Americas - 14.4%, in Asia - 12.5%.
 
The main partner country is Russia, the volume of services which amounted to 70.2 million (45.3% of the total services of the ARC).
 
The volume of services provided to the CIS countries, have increased as compared to the previous year by 32.2%. The highest export growth was observed in the Russian Federation (40.3%) and Kazakhstan (3.3 times). Export of services to Belarus decreased at 52.7%.
 
The volume of services provided in Europe, increased by 71.3% (including in Austria – by 37.4 times, in Switzerland - by 3.3 times, to Germany - on 78.9%, in the UK – on 8.7%).
 
In the I half of 2012, the volume of services in the Americas, slightly decreased (on 13.7%). The volumes of services provided to Panama and the United States 15.5% and 5.3% respectively. However, there was an increase of exports of services in Belize (on 15.1%).
 
Export of services to countries in Asia increased on 16.5% (mostly by increasing the volume of services provided in Cyprus (60.3%), Turkey (7.9%), Lebanon (by 28.7 times)).
 
The largest share in the total exports of services amounted to transportation services (56.8% of total exports of services), services of hotels and restaurants (20.5%), services related to health and social care (10.2%).
 
Import of services from Asia amounted to 45.6% of total imports from European countries - 30.7%, CIS - 7.7%.
 
Import of services from CIS countries increased from last year by 3.1 times, including the Russian Federation - in 3,2 times.
 
Import of services from Asia and Europe increased by 5% and 4.7 times by increasing the volume of services received from the UK (in 82.6 times), Germany (in 3.4 times), Turkey (in 2.4 times), Cyprus (on 1.5%).
 
The largest share in the total import of services amounted to services in real estate transactions, employment and corporate banking (32.9%), services related to public administration (26.7%), transportation (23.8%).
