State Joint Stock Company "Chernomorneftegaz" presented a program of increasing production natural gas in the Black and Azov seas by 2015.

 

For four years, the company plans to acquire seven new and complete arrangements of two existing fields and increase production tripled - from 1 billion 56 million cubic meters in 2011 to 3 billion cubic meters in 2015. Already in 2014, the gas produced domestically will be fully secured Crimea, with annual demand for blue fuel is now about 2 billion cubic meters.

And the first results already. This year's "Chernomorneftegaz" was released on the historical maximum daily gas production from fields in the Black Sea - more than 3 million cubic meters. This will be the highest level in 40-year history of the development of the shelf. The intermediate results are the outcome of complete arrangements of deposits. In particular, increasing drilling in the Black Sea - 2011 "Chernomorneftegaz" became a leader of the Black Sea region in the rate and volume of drilling and continues to maintain it in 2012. In the first half of the company has drilled 8914 meters - more than in the rest of the Black Sea together.

The basis for success will certainly be Odessa gas field development - the first field on the Black Sea shelf, fully equip the time of independence of Ukraine. The deposit has reserves of 21 billion cubic meters of gas and is the largest open "Chernomorneftegaz" field in the Black Sea.
