This year's forum will be held October 4 - 5 in the Livadia Palace. Organizing committee on preparation and holding of the Forum was headed by First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the ARC, Paul Burlakov.
Over the past two years Forum has established itself as an international platform for dialogue leading representatives of government and business in the Black Sea region.
The first forum, held in November 2010, gave an impulse to deepen cooperation with EU countries and the Black Sea region that have expressed interest and willingness of the international businesses to participate actively in the development of the Crimea, to invest in promising projects.
The second forum was attended by 250 participants from 14 countries: the representatives of government and business community, experts from the Black Sea region countries, heads of international organizations and major investment firms from around the world.
The main topics of the forum - 2012:
- the strategic role of the Black Sea area;
- financial instruments for the agricultural sector;
- energy - a key factor in an efficient economy of the region;
- effective structural reforms;
- tourism as a priority in the work of municipal authorities;
- the competitiveness of regions and cities: the experience of leaders.
Consent to participate in the forum as key speakers confirmed representatives of the European Business Association, the EU Delegation in Ukraine, the Association of European Regions, the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (Washington, USA), the Investment Fund "The effective management", the Investment Fund Horizon Capital, an International Fund Sigma Blayzer, Blue Ocean Strategy Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
