Pursuant to the Main Directorate of Statistics in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea the republic in 1 quarter of 2012 had foreign trade transactions in goods with partners from 105 countries.
The biggest export partner of Crimea was CIS countries (45.3% of whole export), Asia with 20.4%, Europe with 19.4%; America got 10.9% of export, and Africa got 3.7%.
The largest volume of export was to the Russian Federation (32.8% of total exports), Turkey (8.2%), USA (5.7%), Byelorussia (5.1%), Germany (4.3%), Kazakhstan (4.2%), and Norway (4.1%).
The volume of export to CIS countries in comparison to the previous year increased by 29.9%, including exports to Russia with growth rate in 40.2%, Byelorussia - 21.5%, Kazakhstan - 9.7%.
At the same time exports to Uzbekistan and Moldova decreased by 12.6% and 11.3%.
Compared to the same period of previous years, exports to Europe decrease by 12.2%. Although volume of export to Norway rose in 214 times, exports to Poland grew in 3.6 times, Austria got 77.7% of growth, Denmark increased exports by 75%, France – by 33.3%. There was a slight export decrease to Germany (6%) and Spain (14.8%).
The exports to Asia also rose by 25.3%, including Iran (48.4%), Turkey (46.1%), China (39.7%), Georgia (33.1%), Korea (5%). India cut the exports by 59.9%.
During the overlooked period we have seen an increase of exports to American and African countries in 2.1 and 4.3 times respectively. In particular, exports increased to USA by 82.6%, Canada - 34.2%, and the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya - in 8.2 times.
Volume of import in goods from Asian countries was amounted almost in half of total Ukrainian import (65.6%). European countries got 15.2% of Ukrainian import, CIS gave 8.7% of goods.
China gave the largest part of imports in goods (56% of total import), Germany imported 8.2% of goods, Turkey - 7.1%, UK - 5.3%, Russia - 4.4%.
Volume of imports from Asia increased significantly, almost in 5 times. Mainly because of China which increased import in 18.4 times. Import in goods from European counties was decrease by 52.2%, including Germany with 79% of decline, and Italy with cut in 25.5%.
At the same time, import from Slovakia increased by 30.7%, Finland – in 2 times, Poland - by 76.7%, Czech Republic - 19.7%.
In comparison to the same period of previous year, imports in goods from the CIS countries increased by 6.5%, including Byelorussia with increasing in 2.4 times, Kazakhstan - 41.8%, Moldova - 2.2 times. Imports in goods from the Russian Federation decreased in 17.8%.
