Meeting of delegations of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation member states allows determining critical growing points and promote economic processes in the region. This was the main idea of comment made by Svetlana Verba, the minister of economic development and trade of Crimea, during the meeting of BSEC member-states that took place at 23 of May in Yalta.
'We are glad to know that Crimea is positioning as outpost of Ukraine in Black Sea region. Today's meeting is important because it determines the strategy of development not only for Crimea, but also for Ukraine and other countries – members of BSEC' claimed the minister.

During the meeting common declaration was passed. This declaration reflects 17 directions for cooperation, including environmental protection, tourism, alternative energy, education, medical treatment, science, new technologies, and also bilateral meetings and negotiations were held.

The meeting was participated by Anatoliy Maksyuta, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Victor Tsvirkun, General Secretary of BSEC, delegates of Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

The Black Sea Economic Cooperation is intergovernmental organization of 12 countries of Black Sea region and South Balkans was created in 1992. The BSEC consists of 12 countries such Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldavia, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine. Ukraine has chairmanship in BSEC in January-July of 2013. A headquarter of the organization is located in Istanbul.
