Today, the 24th of October, the VI International Black Sea Economic Forum is begun in Livadia Palace, Yalta.
This year's main issues were stressed on economic development of the Black Sea region' countries, development of international investment cooperation, agriculture and tourism.
The Forum was attended by governors of Black Sea region countries, EU representatives, international experts in investment sphere, potential investors. Among them are Nikolay Azarov, Prime-Minister of Ukraine, Anatoliy Mogilev, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Andrey Ermolaev, Director of National Institute of Strategic Research under the President of Ukraine, Igor Burakovskiy, Board of Institute of Economic Research and Consulting, Mustafa Sever, Deputy Minister of Economic of Turkish Republic, and others.
During the Forum participants and speakers discussed microeconomic issues and growth point for whole region as well as investment breakthrough model for Crimea. Moreover, a discussion aimed on one of the most important aspects of investment activity for the autonomy specifically on attracting of strategic investor took place.
The Black Sea Economic Forum is an annual international platform for dialog among the leading government and business stakeholders in Black Sea region. The main aim of the Forum is promotion of investment climate, economic development and further growth of competitiveness of Crimea.
The last year’s Forum brought together over 200 state officials, experts and business leaders from 18 countries including the Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Georgia, Greece, Russia, Romania, the United States, Germany, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Finland, South Korea, Turkey and Ukraine.
During the Forum 3 Memorandums of Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and potential investors were sighed up.
