In first quarter of 2013, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea registered 16 foreign investments with total amount in $ 1.6 million.

 

The largest volume (26%) of foreign investment is registered by investors from Germany, 20.6% - the British Virgin Islands, 17% - of the Russian Federation, 14.9% - the UK, 12% - Turkey.

 

Regionally, 47.5% of total foreign investment is registered in the city of Simferopol, 26.4% in Yalta, and 26% in Simferopol rayon.

 

Basically investment funds were directed to the construction sector development (30% of total registered investment), 26.4% for the development of companies engaged in real estate, leasing and property for rent, 26% in agriculture, 15% in the extractive industry, and 2.2% in industrial enterprises.
